A Royal Bath {Open}

There was some advantages to Royalty, Kirana thought as she carefully made her way through a fancy lava bath. Then she ducked in it, and sighed. The heat did wonderful things to her sore muscles. A bad thing about being a Queen- lots of stuff put on you and you must be a good fighter.

She snorted some fire, and shook her head.

Aurora, having shapeshifted into a dragon, picked her way carefully. Even though her skin was impenetrable by heat, and she suspected the lava felt good, she didn't really want to do it right now.

Although she could breath fire in the form of a dragon and fly, she had no idea how to cast dragon magic. That was just for dragons, and she was a dragon impersonator.

And the queen would know that.

She sensed another dragon, but the dragon didn't feel right. It felt.. different. Then she realized it; it was a shapeshifter. She snorted angrily. If it was a human trying to attack them, the human would die the most horrible death. She shot of the bath, and landed in front of the dragon.

"What are you doing here human." She asked the human angrily.

Aurora stood her ground. "Human? Shapeshifters are not fully human, as you must realize, Queen Kirane." She inclined her head, but kept her eyes on the Queen. "Aurora Danaera-- that is, if you've heard of me. If you haven't, I am the leader of the Resistance, and I've come here to ask your help."

She snorted and tossed her head. "Your natural form is a human. To me, you are a human." She grumbled. "I have. And what do you need help with, human?" She asked.

"Dragons are...powerful," Aurora said, her heart slamming in her chest. "We ask for your help." She shrugged a bit and forced herself to keep eye contact.

She lowered herself till she was leveled with the human. She analyzed her; she was respectful. "You can loose eye contact now." She said softly. She didn't hate this human anymore. But she still disliked her. After all, she didn't like humans.

"Thank you for the comment. But I must ask- can you defeat the king, if Dragon's wasn't part of the resistance." She tilted her head, waiting patiently for the answer.

Aurora dropped her eyes. "I--I suppose we could," she said meekly. "We have many magical creatures on our side. However, it would take us far longer than it would if we had dragons."

(OOC: Disagree with me. Say that you won't. It's part of the plot XD. When Mandaya dies, then you agree)

"I don't want Dragon's to die." She said unemotionless. She would fight, if it meant no Dragon would die. However, that would be impossible. "The king hasn't done anything to us yet. We know of his hatred for Magical Creatures. Until he does, we won't help." She ducked her head.

"Of course," said Aurora tonelessly, a crushing disappointment in her heart, before she spread her wings and flew away.

She watched as the human fly away, disappointed. She felt slightly guilty, but shook it off. Yes, this was one of the hardship's of being a queen. You must do the right thing, even if it is hard to do.
