He loved her (NARRATIVE - Jack)

He loved her.

Jack groaned, running a hand through his hair as he looked around the empty room in the castle. The king relaxed and thought about the queen. He'd heard about the rebel group -- the Resistance, they called themselves. And he was sorely tempted to join -- it was so persistant that he nearly did, but...

...to do so was to fight against the king.

And the queen.

He couldn't fight against her. He simply couldn't.

Which is why he didn't.

She didn't love the king -- he knew she didn't. He hoped that she didn't.

The Sky King gazed out of the window.
